Where are you now? Or is a better question Where aren’t you now?
Life changes. Sometimes life changes a lot and it changes fast. Some changes seem like they are for our best interest and some seem like they have no point at all in relation to our lives. We may even think that what is changing is the worst change possible. Then when we stand where we currently reside on our timeline we realize it was a good thing.
I have recently began looking back at the last 15 years of my life. Can I just say WOW! So much is different and so much is new! I look at some years and think how sad they were and then realize that they made me who I am today. I look at other years and simply smile at the joy that began then and continues through today.
We cannot go backwards. Ever. We may reconnect with people from our past but they are new and in the now and even that relationship is different. We may change our career or our spiritual path but it is where we are now that counts.
We truly cannot plan for the future because we never truly know where we will be going. Things change that quickly.
We read so much about being present that it almost seems cliché to us at times. Present in what? Present with what? Face it we are creatures who are obsessed with where we have been and where we are going. The present, well that seems to have no purpose whatsoever in this fast paced plan ahead and learn from your mistakes world.
I invite you to look at your NOW. Where are you right now? Are you happy with what you see? If so you are in the flow and life is moving for you? If not, ask yourself why? Don’t let your past keep you from being fully in the present.
We are in a world where things change constantly and seemingly instantaneously. It takes no time for information to travel around the globe. With things changing so fast, ask yourself why can’t your life be a part of this quick transition? And how can you do that?
Sit, take one moment of your hectic day, your hectic life. For one minute think about now. Look at the timeline of where you are and really be there just for a moment. You will notice a shift in your energy and in your thoughts. If you can do this every day, you will begin to see changes in your life.
